RISE TO THE CHALLENGE ! Beat the COVID-19 Pandemic
Indian Institutes of Technology – Association of Greater New England (IIT AGNE) has partnered with Makerspace, Makers Workshop in Maynard, MA. They have worked with various PPE open source design concepts to arrive at a final design to make MASKS and FACE SHIELDS using minimal 3D filament and at a faster rate than other circulating open source designs.

The shields and masks are reusable, and this design has been specifically approved by Emerson Hospital and Acton Medical Associates and they have requested in their words… “as many as we can make”.
The Makers Workshop is 3D printing and running nonstop 24/7. Members and friends within the extended local community are operating the printers nonstop. Other organizations are also making as many as they can throughout the country.
The GOAL is to make completed shields and masks much more quickly, potentially hundreds per day, as there are more requests from many hospitals daily.
…so, we NEED YOUR HELP. 100% of your donation will support this cause.
Example you can donate
- $200 to buy 1 3D printer
- $50 for 20 masks
No amount is too small or too big.
Thank you in advance. TOGETHER we can do this.
Once the COVID-19 needs are met, the 3D printers will be donated to local universities to enhance their research capabilities in 3D printing technology.
